A very colorful "Jolly Good Fellow" faience toby jug, mid nineteenth century. This is a very popular subject and has excellent decoration. Height 11", little repair.

A well colored Staffordshire figure of Benjamin Franklin, circa 1860 and signed Franklin on the base in raised lettering. An identical example is pictured in Pugh, page B200, fig. 66. this piece is in very good condition with no imperfections or repairs. The height is 14".

A nineteenth century pearlware figure of Diana The Huntress, possibly from the pottery of talented modeler Enoch Wood, English, circa 1800. This piece is crafted useing press molding with hand modeled details added. The result is a sharply detailed object with crisp features. The many colored glazes finish this wonderful figure. Very good condition with no apparent repairs.

A very colorful nineteenth century Faience Toby mug of a happy man taking snuff. These figures were produced to compete with English Staffordshire and this example is of very high quality. Two tiny chips in the handle, otherwise in excellent condition.

A remarkable redware flask in the form of a woman wearing a long gown with a very open ruffled bodice that leaves little to the imagination. Folksy, somewhat risque and definitely unique, this unusual figure is difficult to date or place but is probably late eighteenth or early nineteenth century and is either Continental or from the American south where it was part of a collection. An amazing suvivor with only two or three minor chips.

An early nineteenth century toby with an unusually red face. He must be having too much fun. There is some repair to the hat but the overall condition is very good. Height 9 1/2".
